United Muslim Coalition Against Violence and Crime

Barbara Muhammad is a founding member of The United Muslim Coalition Against Violence and Crime, board member of Widener Partnership Charter School and served for 15 years as a community liaison with Professor Dr. Keith Reeves of the Political Science Department at Swarthmore College. 

Her most humble contribution was investment in changing the housing conditions for over 17 hundred families of the Chester Housing Authority by participating in an historical Federal Lawsuit the Velez vs Henry Cisneros class action suit. There is a more extensive part to her story in Chester that, God willing, can be shared over time.
