Survivor Support

Trauma and grief can have strong emotional effects– causing flashbacks; disturbing dreams; anger; being “super-alert” and jumpy; or having trouble sleeping. Understanding the effects of violent experiences can help to put these feelings in perspective.

Learn how to ground yourself from stress, manage trauma reactions and reminders, and practice relaxation techniques and self-care during our 10-week trauma-informed group counseling sessions.

These groups are for survivors who have been injured through violence or have witnessed violence directly, as well as for caregivers supporting someone permanently or temporarily injured through violence.  Transportation and dinner are provided.

Call 610-368-0714 or 215-617-2629 to register.
