Psychology Intern
Samantha “Sammei” Dixon is currently in her fourth year pursuing her Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) and MBA at Widener University. She is concentrating on Child, Adolescent, and Family Psychotherapy as well as Cross-Cultural and Diversity Psychology. Sammei has completed her training in school psychology and has experience assessing and working with people who have ADHD, Autism, Executive Dysfunction, and Depression.
Sammei graduated from Howard University with her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. During her undergraduate career, she worked for a nonprofit as an after-school social and emotional program leader. After graduation, she began working as an ABA Therapist in Dallas, TX and eventually West Chester, PA. She has experience offering services in-home, within private practice, within private and public schools, as well as community mental health spaces. Her life’s passion is to empower others to advocate for themselves and their needs.
Mrs. Dixon is currently working on her doctoral dissertation concerning the motivation and goal achievement of justice-involved youth.
