Nurse Practitioner

Elayne DeSimone has recently retired from a long career in Nursing Education. Elayne currently serves as a volunteer Nurse Practitioner at Community Volunteers in Medicine in West Chester PA. She is the chair of the Social Action Committee at Congregation Ohev Shalom in Wallingford, serves on the Safety Committee of the Boys and Girls Club of Chester and is Co-Chair of the Development Committee of the Chester Community Coalition. Previous community projects include a co – founding role in the Chester – Delaware county chapter of Heeding God’s Call to End Gun Violence. She believes that the work of the CCC is important to stem the effects of violence in the community.
