Case Worker

Kareem Millner knows firsthand the tragedy of gun violence in 2003 when he was just 12 years old his cousin was shot and killed. This devastating loss fueled Kareem’s passion for justice and advocacy. Kareem has dedicated his life to empowering communities and  advocating for the marginalized. With a background serving the homeless Kareem has a diverse understanding of trauma informed care.

Kareem approaches social issues like gun violence through a public health lens. He believes that by bringing people together, giving them a voice, and tailoring solutions for the specific community, transformational change is possible. Kareem’s diverse experiences and passion for justice fuels his vision for empowering underserved groups.

He believes that Chester Community Coalition, aims to enact real policy changes. They are proving that grassroots movements can inspire change and are creating a more just, safe, and empowered community throughout Chester, PA as well as Delaware County.
